T. O. Honiball was one of South Africa's best known cartoonists. He produced numerous cartoons and comic strips between 1936 and 1978.
His "Oom Kaspaas en Nefie" comic strips were published for many years in "
Die Burger" newspaper. They were published between 1939 and 1957.
They were popular enough to be reprinted in ten book volumes of collections between 1940 and 1949.
