Mimosa Comics produced numerous reprints of DC Comics titles in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Some were
translated into Afrikaans. The Afrikaans translation was excellent.
This is Mimosa Comics' Superman en Weste Woeste Jaarboek 1. Colour Card-Stock Cover, black-and-white interior pages, 288 pages. Published around 1963-1964. Dimensions 249x168mm. 26mm thick.
This Annual/Yearbook is the only such edition that Mimosa produced. It is a repackaging, containing six individual Mimosa Giant Comics. These six books have been rebound (minus their individual covers) into a square-bound book. The Cover Image is a collage of Various images.
Each Volume Contains these six issues, and are arranged in this order:

This is one of the earliest South African reprint comics. Zebra Publications were the first to reprint American Comics in 1954.
This is Zebra Publications "Walt Disney Strokiesverhale 1" - an Afrikaans
translation (Sebra Uitgewers in Afrikaans). It reprints Dell Comics' Walt Disney's Comics and Stories 113 from 1950. This South African
reprint was published in 1955.
