Mimosa Detective Library Digest 23

This rare South African reprint was published in 1961 by Mimosa.
These titles were printed in a smaller size (185x133mm) compared to the original DC Comics title.
Glossy Colour Cover, interior black-and-white newsprint.
The printing reproduction from the original was very good quality. This issue is only 32 pages.

It contains all four stories from DC Comics' Gang Buster 64 (1958) and one story from Gang Busters  63 (1958).

Mimosa All-Star Western 9

This is All-Star Western 9, published by Mimosa (SA Magazine Co) in 1960.
It reprints the cover and two stories from from DC Comics' All-Star Western 109 (1959):
Johnny Thunder: "The Screaming Eagle Ambush!"
The Trigger Twins: "Every Sheriff has 5 Soldiers"
24 pages, full-colour, newsprint stock cover and interior pages.
These titles were printed in a smaller size (255x170mm) compared to the original DC Comics title.
This is one of the seven first titles that Mimosa started reprinting in 1959 (Western Comics, Tales of the Unexpected, Falling in Love, Mystery in Space, Romances, Batman and All-Star Western).

Mimosa Giant Batman 16

This is Giant Batman 16, published by Mimosa (SA Magazine Co) +/- 1963-1964.
It reprints the cover and all three stories from DC Comics' Batman 148 (1962):
"The Alien Force Twins"
"The Boy who was Robin"
"The Joker's Greatest Triumph"
Also reprinted is this story from DC Comics' Detective Comics 233 (1956):

Atlas Publications Detective Picture Library Digest 9

This rare South African reprint was published in 1960 by Atlas Publications (S.A. Magazine Co.).
These titles were printed in a smaller size (185x132mm) compared to the original DC Comics title.
Cover printed in glossy colour, interior in black-and-white.
The printing reproduction from the original was very good quality. This issue is only 32 pages.

It contains four stories from DC Comics' Gang Buster 58 (1957) and one from Detective Comics 203 (1954).
The Atlas Cover bears no resemblance to the four stories contained therein.

Mimosa Mystery in Space 11

This is Mystery in Space 11, published by Mimosa (SA Magazine Co) +/- 1964.
It reprints the cover and both stories from DC Comics' Classic Mystery in Space 82 (1963):
"World War on Earth and Rann!"
"The Planet Patrol Peril!"
Also reprinted is this story from DC Comics' Mystery in Space 44 (1958):
 "Earthman, Go Home!"

32 pages, full-colour, glossy cover and black-and-white interior pages.

Zebra Publications Superman 1

This is one of the earliest South African reprint comics. Zebra Publications were the first to reprint DC Comics in 1954.

This is Zebra Publications Superman 1 - the cover is taken from DC Comics' Superman 85 (1953).
Colour cover, Black-and-White interior, 24 pages.
Smaller than the original comic size - dimensions 176mm x 244mm.
